Frank J. Monteiro

Brass Axe Capital was founded in 2017 by Frank J. Monteiro. In his 20-year career, Monteiro has grown from a general accounting manager to CFO, with additional experience acting as COO. He has led business restructuring efforts, the divestiture and acquisition of multiple businesses, and facilitated business transactions in both the public and private markets. He has developed business strategies for IT, human resources, supply chain management, finance, operations, and strategic growth opportunities. With an array of experience at every level, Monteiro and his team will provide the cultivated blueprint your business needs to flourish and thrive in the community.

Peter K. Baker

Managing member Peter K. Baker is the former CEO of a publicly-traded company and a passionate community contributor. Peter has a long track record of visualizing and operationalizing investments for growth. Starting his career at water and coffee distributor Crystal Rock in 1977 nailing delivery crates, Baker strategically worked his way up to President in 2001. Peter oversaw the transition of Crystal Rock to a publicly-traded company, guided the company through the largest expansion in its 104 year history, and oversaw the the sale of the company in 2018. In his career, he launched a rebranding initiative, oversaw 50 business acquisitions and integrations, and lead diversification efforts from water and coffee business to office and jansan products. Peter has served as board member and president throughout various programs in the local community.
